The first time I heard the name Greg Lamberson is was as author of a really excellent horror novel titiled Personal Demons. I did not realize at the time that he was also a director. While talking to him about his novel the fact that he had directed a film did come up and he asked me if I wanted to have a look at it.
He had his distribution company send me one right along and of course I have not yet had the chance to check it out. It is still sitting here waiting for me to pop it into the player. Things have just been crazy lately and with the site growing as quickly as it has finding time to sit down and watch a flick has proven difficult. Anyway, the fine folks over at Shock-O-Rama were also cool enough to offer up 5 copies of the film to giveaway to all you freaks. I have been holding them till I posted the review but it turns out we can wait no longer so without further delay I offer to you your chance to pick up a copy of Slime City to call your very own.
No trivia contest or nothing this time, just send along your contact info to me right here and we’ll put your name in the hopper to pick up one of these discs. As always, make sure to include your COMPLETE MAILING ADDRESS as the discs are being send directly from Shock-O-Rama and entries not including all the info they need to get the prize to you will be deleted.
As far as the DVD goes, here is what it is all about:
When Alex (Robert Sabin) and his virginal girlfriend Lori (Mary Huner) move into a New York City apartment, they fall victim to blood-thirsty supernatural forces that have horrifying plans for them. The apartment is haunted by the restless spirits of an occultist named Zachary and his fanatical followers who had committed mass suicide years before. Seduced by a mysterious woman, Alex is gradually possessed by the diabolical Zachary. Only Lori can battle the putrid powers of darkness and save Alex's soul when he transforms into a murdering, melting monster…a hideous slime-splattered demon that cannot be stopped.
